In Singapore, PUB marks the special occasion with Singapore World Water Day (SWWD). It is a platform to encourage initiatives by the community, for the community. Each year, PUB partners around organisations, schools, and community groups to celebrate water and promote water conservation through various water-centric activities.

The Art People has been participating in SWWD for 3 years, this year The Art People organised a comic strip competition to challenge young minds in conveying the importance of water conservation through cartoons.
