K.I.S Art Program™
K.I.S stands for Keep It Simple.
This simple form of teaching help kids understand the fundamentals of drawing from colour blending to 3D shapes drawing to simple sketching.
This program was developed together with a group of Independent Art Teachers (Friends) currently teaching at kindergarten, NAFA and Primary Schools. After teaching art in their respective fields, they notice that Singapore art system focus on creativity and little on skills building.
Like any subjects, art itself has many skills set required to master before one can truly be creative. A great analogy is being an Inventor. Before you can invent, You will need technical skills like fabrication. Knowledge like maths and science. Putting all these skills together, then can the power of invention take place.
Completing the K.I.S Art Program, students will learn and master the skills needed to start "Inventing". This program is build on the Growth Mindset practice.

K.I.S Foundation Art - Level 1
Foundation Art is the level that students learn the tools needed for everyday art. Tools like oil pastels, 2B pencil, colour pencils and brushes. Each module, students will explore those tools through projects and worksheets.

K.I.S Elementary Art - Level 2
The journey through this elementary art will be tough but very rewarding. This specialisation offers a higher level of sketching from animals to 3D objects to sceneries to picture composition. This level is where students apply what they have learnt at Foundation Art.

K.I.S Water Colour Painting - Level 3
Students will learn to appreciate watercolouring in this short 12 lessons program. This traditional medium is widely used in any mixed medium concepts and very practical in everyday use. Students will learn, in depth, the skills in brush control and different painting techniques to complete their breath-taking art pieces.

Learn for Shades and Tint works and how to create a good blending.
Painting Techniques
Learn how different brush stokes create different effects and understand when to use those brush stokes.
